MES to optimize the manufacture of liquids

B. Braun has installed Werum’s PAS-X system at its production facility in Sempach, Switzerland. PAS-X will be used to optimize the manufacture of liquids, and will also operate in explosion-proof areas. PAS-X was previously installed at B. Braun’s Berlin site and at two of its plants in Melsungen. Werum’s PAS-X manufacturing execution system (MES) will replace a legacy weighing and dispensing system and will provide additional functions for recipe management and execution, as well as for generating electronic manufacturing reports. According to the company, PAS-X will further optimize the efficiency, quality and compliance of its production processes.
